PORT CLINTON – Every Friday at 6 p.m., RiverFront Live hosts free, outdoor summer concerts in downtown Port Clinton. Sometimes people sit and enjoy dinner or drinks from local bars and restaurants during the shows. Sometimes, they get up and dance to the music. Sometimes the concerts feature performers from out of town.

Sometimes, some of the band members live right in Port Clinton, like Richard and Jeanne Morgan of Water Street Band. The Morgans live so close to downtown Port Clinton that they can hear the RiverFront Live concerts from their house.

When Water Street Band performs at RiverFront Live on Friday, Aug. 8, at 6 p.m., the Morgans’ neighbors will hear them. The band will play a mix of classic rock hits that will get the crowd dancing and singing along.

Water Street Band includes Richard on keyboard and vocals, Jeanne Morgan on acoustic guitar and vocals, Kim LaClair on vocals, Bob LaClair on bass guitar and vocals, Steve Farmer on 12-string acoustic guitar and vocals, Mike Spahr on drums, and MJ Anderson on lead guitar.

The band, which has set itself apart with its exceptional harmonies, promises to bring a fun, upbeat night of music to the Port Clinton crowd.
