The Port Clinton Board of Education recently approved the hiring of Jenifer Dackermann as assistant principal of Port Clinton Middle School. She will join newly hired principal Denny Antonelli in leading the nationally recognized school.
Dackermann has been a teacher with the district since 2000 and is familiar with the student body, both as a physical education teacher and Student Council Advisor.
“We are very excited to have Jen Dackermann as our assistant middle school principal. She brings over 20 years of Port Clinton Middle School experience to the position,” said Supt. Patrick Adkins. “She has held numerous leadership positions in our district and is intimately familiar with the operations of the building. She will be a great addition to our administrative team.”
Dackermann will continue the student-focused approach as she has worked with students throughout her career as former Port Clinton High School Leadership Council Co-Advisor, Athletic Trainer, 5K Club Advisor, Archery Club Coach and Assistant Diving Coach.
She has also held several district leadership roles as a member of the District Leadership Team, Student Learning Objectives Committee, Midship Leader, and Physical Education K-12 and Health K-12 Department Chairperson.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue my career in education as the assistant principal at Port Clinton Middle School. I am excited to work with new principal Denny Antonelli and with our excellent teachers and staff to provide our middle level students a high level educational experience,” said Dackermann.
