The Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce is still in need of door prizes for the upcoming Classic Car Show. Please let the chamber know if you would like to donate something (gift certificate, goodies, etc.) to be used during raffles held throughout the day. Also, the chamber will be assembling “goodie bags” for each participant – chamber members can bring us your menus, coupons or fliers to be included in the bags.

2024 marks the 31st anniversary of the Port Clinton Area Chamber’s Jerry Lippus Memorial Classic Car Show planned for Saturday, August 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Madison St. in downtown Port Clinton. There is still time to register vehicles by calling the chamber office at 419-734-5503 or by visiting PortClintonChamber.com. The cost is $15, and the first 100 cars registered receive a free dash plaque.

Cars, trucks and bikes from virtually every era and every make will be on display, and a DJ will be playing your favorites from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 50/50 drawings begin at 11 a.m. and door prizes are called every hour beginning at 11:30 a.m.

In recent years, the shows have hosted an average of over 150 cars and trucks. Vehicle registration is $15 with a portion of the registration fees being donated to the Port Clinton 4th of July Fireworks and Main Street Port Clinton in honor of Jerry Lippus.
