The Port Clinton Redskin Bowling teams hosted the Huron Tigers in the last SBC match of the 2018-2019 season at Star Lanes at the Harbor last night.
The Port Clinton Boys bowling team survived a furious comeback attempt by the Tigers in the last baker game to earn the win 2664-2653. The Redskins finished conference play with a 7-3 record, their overall record is now 8-6. Christopher Sanford led the way with 194-214 (408) and was followed by Rok Scott 181-203 (384), Dylan Smothers 165-179 (344) and Devonte Bates 195-144 (339). Brennen Barnett 130 and Jacob Shipp 174 rounded out the scoring. The Redskins are back in action Tuesday night when they host the Sandusky Perkins Pirates at 4:00 at Star Lanes at the Harbor.
Huron scoring: Anthony Drivas 177-133 (310), Gabe Schwiefert 198-156 (354), Tobias Williams 159, Hunter Warren 118-176 (294), Nick Pack 225-223 (448) and Gavin McKitrick 158.
The Port Clinton Girls finished their SBC season by also defeating the Huron Tigers 2081-1867. The Lady Redskins finished with a 5-3 conference record, their overall record is now 9-5. Chyeanne Strader continued her strong bowling 195-201 (396) and was followed by Gabie Klein 138-18 (318), Michelle Brough 146-137 (283), Sierra Seibold 125-138 (263) and Doris Huskey 129-118 (247). The ladies are also back in action Tuesday night when they host the Sandusky Perkins Pirates at 4:00 at Star Lanes at the Harbor.
