Port Clinton Middle Schools’ Young Entrepreneurs Club got off to an amazing start this year, making a field trip last week with advisors Ryan Evarts and Kerry Fial to visit with local Port Clinton entrepreneurs.

The students marched downtown to visit Abbie Fox at Lakelynn Design LLC and Dina Rodgers and Lilly & Gert’s. Both businesswomen gave the students advice and answered questions about starting a business, hopefully sparking creativity for all of the Young Entrepreneurs Club members as they develop their own business concepts.

“We loved walking downtown to see all that Port Clinton has to offer and to pick up some ideas along the way. Thank you, Lilly & Gert’s and Lakelynn Design LLC. for giving our students some awesome
advice!” said Evarts.

PCMS Young Entrepreneur Club members include: Caden Hanson, Sarah Koch, Lincoln Beasley, Dominic Mullens, Kerynn Christansen, Jayda Mullens, Emma Knecht, Abigail Johnson, Kain Hoyt, Jalynn Burkholder, Marissa Frohne, Christen Sayre, Arleigh Dackermann, Jason Mullens, Grace Navarro, Gabbie Heilmann, Morgan Wiechman, Maddie Wiechman, Max Lucas, Casey Brand, Wyatt Brand, Wyatt Siefke, Noah Fitt, Kai Weit, Mason Short, Joie Ruggles, Michaela Stork, Lily Lucero, and Bryce Copeland.

The Young Entrepreneurs Club meets after school to plan projects that will presented at the Young Entrepreneurs Fair in March.
