The Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual dinner recently at the Mon Ami Restaurant and Historic Winery to review accomplishments over the past year, celebrate its member awards program and announce its board for the next year.
Scot Taylor of Pier 53 was elected to serve a second 3-year term, while Matt Stouffer of the Catawba Island Club will serve his first full-term. A special thanks went to Doug Focht of Focht Construction and Jeff Wingate of Rock Ledge Inn for their service to the board for the past six years.
The other current members on the chamber’s board are: Todd Almendinger, Magruder Hospital; Mark Coppeler, Ottawa County Commissioner; Mike Sakal, Baumann Auto Center; Deb Wierzba, Huntington Banks; Phillip Bolte, Bolte Real Estate; Brittany Griffin, Genoa Bank; Carol Morgan, Real Living Morgan Realty Group; and Curt “Shorty” Frabott, Shorty’s Custom Remodeling.
Chamber officers are: Chairman Todd Almendinger of Magruder Hospital; past chairman Scot Taylor of Pier 53; Vice-Chairman Curt “Shorty” Frabott with Shorty’s Custom Remodeling; and Treasurer Deb Wierzba of Huntington Bank.
