Port Clinton Chamber focuses on milestones, beautification awards

The Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Port Clinton held their annual dinner and Awards Ceremony on Thursday night, and beauty and longevity were the standards in 2023.

Port Clinton Chamber officials began the annual awards to honor companies and organizations that have enjoyed a long, fruitful stay in the community. Five Year Milestone Awards were presented to Studio E, Resort at Erie Landing and Catawba Island Jewelers.

Ten Year Milestone Awards were presented to Friends of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge Intern Program, Salon

53, Ciao Bella and The Clinton House.

First National Bank was selected for the 25 Year Milestone Award, and Masonry Construction for the 50 Year Milestone Award.

The rare 100 Year Milestone Award was given to Croghan Colonial Bank and Ohler & Holzhauer.

Main Street Port Clinton handed out its annual Beautification Awards to wrap up the night, with The Gristmill and Port Clinton Candy Company honored for their excellent efforts in improving the appearance of Port Clinton’s downtown area throughout the year.
