PORT CLINTON – Port Clinton City Schools accepted nominations last spring for teachers to receive the “Excellent Teacher Award.” Nominations were submitted by staff members, students, community members or anyone wishing to nominate. In total, there were 69 teachers nominated. A panel of teachers, board members, administrators and a community member served on the selection committee to recognize three teachers from each building. The following teachers were recognized for their commitment to the students and school community of Port Clinton as an Excellent Teacher 2025.

Bataan Memorial Primary: Tiffany Barnhill, Kelly Fahle and Adam Siefke. Bataan Memorial Intermediate: Dan Periat, Brett Reineck and Matt Solomon. Port Clinton Middle School: Jen Amos, Abigail Dornbusch Huston and Emily Stamm- Kolb. Port Clinton High School: Brooke Harvey, Allison Lind and Diane Rosiar.

Nominations included how teachers live the Port Clinton City School District Beliefs, Behaviors and Outcomes every day.

“We take great pride in acknowledging and rewarding our exceptional staff. This is our chance to express our gratitude publicly and demonstrate our appreciation for their dedicated efforts,” said Superintendent of Schools Patrick Adkins.
