Port Clinton tennis players beat Oak Harbor in a Sandusky Bay Conference match, 3-2, to earn a share of the league title. Port Clinton finished the season at 16-5, 13-1 in the SBC. Oak Harbor fell to 11-8, 8-4.
In varsity play, Port Clinton’s Elliott Auxter defeated Brennan Ish, 6-4, 6-2, and Max Brenner topped Keegan Durdle, 6-2-, 6-2. The Redskins’ Andrew Fillmore fell to Nate Mansor, 6-4, 4-6, 10-4.
In doubles, Port Clinton’s Cooper Kowal and Noah Shaw won 6-3, 6-1, over Matt Klima and Andrew Jefferies, while the Redskins Connor Bechtel and Clair Snyder lost 6-2, 7-6 to Thomas Chovanec and Kyle Glaser.
