TOLEDO — Tiffin Columbian’s size and athleticism were simply too much for Port Clinton to overcome.
The Tornadoes controlled the tempo and got plenty of easy shots in their 66-32 victory over Port Clinton in a Division II sectional final at Bowsher High School.
The Tornadoes, seeded fifth in the Millbury District, got 19 points from L.J. Reaves, who scored 13 in the first half when Columbian took control of the game. Bryce Burns and Carson Goble each scored 12 points for the Tornadoes.
Adam Thorbahn had 13 points to lead Port Clinton, the No. 10 seed. The ‘Skins were coming off a victory over Clyde in the sectional semifinals, the first postseason victory for the program in 10 years.
