Port Clinton High School will celebrate Homecoming Week on Sept. 30 – Oct 5. Members of the PCHS Homecoming Court include: Seniors Carli Laurel, Elena Kessler, Matti Koskela, Star Mackey, Avery Hines, Zayne Manning, Tyler Webb, Zach Weldon; Juniors Kierstin Sherer, Westin Laird; Sophomores Lilly Howell, Garrett Cornell; and Freshmen Makaila Webb and Owen Auxter.
The PCHS Leadership Council recently announced the schedule of events. The community is invited to help support the Redskin student athletes.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Homecoming Parade will start at 6:30 p.m. with various Redskin sport teams represented. The parade route is as follows: PCHS, Jefferson to Sixth then end at stadium. At True Lay Stadium there will be a Powder Puff football tournament between classes and other activities.
On Friday, Oct. 4 the kickoff of the Homecoming Game vs. Edison is 7 p.m. The Homecoming Court will be announced and 2019 King and Queen will be crowned prior to the kickoff during pregame festivities. The Homecoming Dance for PCHS students will be on Saturday. The following are a list of daily dress themes for Port Clinton City Schools.
Port Clinton High School and Port Clinton Middle School: Monday – PJ Day; Tuesday – VSCO Girl; Wednesday – Wild, Wild West; Thursday – Jersey and Hat; Friday – Red and White.
Bataan Memorial Theme Days: Monday – PJ Day; Tuesday – Inside Out Team; Wednesday – Wild, Wild West; Thursday – Jersey and Day; Friday – Red and White Day.
