Port Clinton High School announces February Senior Spotlight

Bella Cuevas is treasurer of PCHS National Honor Society and a member of Leadership Council and the Lead Like a Redskin program. She has been on the high school volleyball team for four years and named to the third team District and Honorable Mention All SBC. As part of the track team, she has been a regional qualifier in the hurdles, and she has been a Mat Stat for wrestling for three years. As a student athlete, she has also been named to the SBC All Academic Teams and was recognized as a Kiwanis Scholar Athlete. Next year, she plans to further her education by majoring in architectural engineering at the University of Cincinnati. Bella is the daughter of Nicole Kochensparger and Gabriel Cuevas.

During her years at PCHS, Emily Menningen has been very active with the Drama Club, having numerous roles in each production during her four years of high school. Emily is also a member of the PCHS Orchestra, playing cello and chorale. She is vice president of Educators Rising and takes College Credit Plus courses offered at PCHS. Outside of school, Emily is very involved in her church, Port Clinton Bible Methodist, by singing, being a worship leader, and assisting with technology. She is also taking piano lessons. Next year, she will continue her passion for music by pursuing a double major in vocal music along with music, focusing on cello and piano, at either Penn View Bible Institute or God’s Bible College in Cincinnati. She is the daughter of Anthony and Kelly Menningen.
