Port Clinton High School announces Homecoming Court and Schedule

The Port Clinton High School Homecoming Court for 2021 will celebrate Homecoming this weekend. Port Clinton High School will celebrate Homecoming on Saturday, Sept. 25 and the Homecoming Week schedule of events, and the PCHS Leadership Council is inviting everyone to join in the fun with Port Clinton High School.

On Wednesday, Sept 22, the PCHS Homecoming Parade will start at 6:30 p.m. with various athletic teams represented. The parade route from the high school is Jefferson to Sixth Street, then end at stadium. At True Lay Stadium there will be a Powder Puff football tournament between classes and other activities.

On Friday, Sept. 24 the kickoff of the Homecoming game vs. Edison is 7 p.m. The Homecoming Court will be announced and the 2021 King and Queen crowned prior to the kickoff during pregame festivities. The Homecoming Dance for Port Clinton students will be on Saturday.

Friday, Sept. 24 is also the kick-off for PCHS Alumni Weekend. Alumni Weekend events can be found at https://bit.ly/PCHSalumni21.

Members of the Port Clinton Homecoming Court and their graduating class include: Erieyonna Buckley, Briar Rohrer, Class of 2025; Alexa Taylor, Bryce Copeland, Class of 2024; Addisynne Siefke, Adam Thorbahn, Class of 2023; Paeja Leow, Josh Hurst, Alexis Meggitt, Colton Yarbrough, Marcella Brenner, Luke Halsey, Katerina Fillmore and Garrett Cornell, Class of 2022.

The following are a list of daily dress themes for Port Clinton City Schools.

High School: Monday – Jersey day; Tue -Cowboys vs Aliens; Wednesday – Groutfit (wear gray); Thursday – Dress like a Dad day; Friday – Color wars, Frosh-neon green, Soph. -neon orange, Juniors – neon yellow, Seniors – neon pink, and Staff – neon blue.

Middle School: Monday – PJ Day; Tuesday – Cowboys vs Aliens; Wednesday – Red and White Day; Thursday – Super Hero Day; Friday – Color Wars, grade 6 – neon pink, grade 7 – neon orange, grade 8 – neon green, and staff – neon yellow.

Bataan Memorial: Monday – Jersey Day; Tuesday – Super Hero; Wednesday – Wacky Wednesday; Thursday – PJ Day; Friday – PC Spirit Day.
