Port Clinton High School DECA Competes at District

Port Clinton High School DECA competed in the district competition on Wednesday, Feb. 7.  The following PCHS students have qualified for the State competition on March 8-9 in Columbus by placing in the top four: Olivia Rodgers, Retail Series, first place; Jordan Waddell,  Accounting Series, second place; Jason Mullens, Automotive Series, second place; Christen Sayre, Entrepreneurship Series, second place; Jessie Waddell, Personal Financial Literacy, third place; and Taylor Werling, Human Resources Series, fourth place.

Ava Carr placed fifth in the Apparel and Accessories Series.  PCHS DECA students also participating in the contest were Mason Short, Landon Biers, Logan Owens, Cameron Schultz, and Isaiah Fletcher.  Bill Hollister is the PCHS Marketing Instructor and DECA Advisor.
