Port Clinton High School Drama Club Presents “Into the Woods”

Into the Woods: The PCHS Drama Club will present “Into the Woods” on March 14, 16 and 17.

The Port Clinton High School (PCHS) Drama Club is presenting its student production of “Into the Woods” on Thursday, March 14 and Saturday, March 16 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 17 at 3 p.m. in the PCHS Performing Arts Center. Tickets cost $8 and will be on sale prior to the show in the PCHS Main Office or at the box office prior to each performance.

One of Sondheim’s most popular works, “Into the Woods” follows a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse.

The talented cast includes: Narrator – Sam Roberts; Baker – Kyle Biers; Baker’s Wife – Anna Hittepole; Witch – Camiah Baker; Jack – Quinn Felbinger; Jack’s Mother – Jandi Torres; Little Red Ridinghood – Kerynn Christiansen; Granny – Aidan Burton; Cinderella – Lydia Roberts; Cinderella’s Stepmother – Makenna Wells; Florinda – Emma Rose Johnson; Lucinda – Joss Rohde; Cinderella’s Father – Keegan Lukac; Cinderella’s Mother – Aliza Kilmer; Cinderella’s Prince – Maxwell Solomon; Steward – Gabe Depner; Rapunzel – Emme Barth; Wolf Rapunzel’s Prince – Kayden Shrader; Mysterious Man – Tristan Minney; Snow White – Woodland Sprite – Caileigh Barton-Kashmer; Sleeping Beauty – Woodland Sprite – Olivia Althaus; Stage and Tech Crew – Chloe Clark, Lorelei Fall, Gabrielle Heilmann, Derek Holly, Noah Jackson, Dylan Lukac, Logan Mazur, Landon Mincer, William Osborne and Christen Sayre. Directors are Kat Hansen and Brooke Harvey, assisted by Student Director Emily Boykin.
