Port Clinton High School looking for alumni career mentors

Would you like to help PCHS Students by offering the advice you wish you had?  Port Clinton High School Job Coach, Mike Miller, is looking for Port Clinton High School Alumni in varied jobs and careers to offer guidance to PCHS students by sharing their expertise.

“Many of our students do not know what they want to do when they graduate, so showing them different options for employment helps to save the students time and money on education while giving them work exposure in their desired fields,” Miller said. “Many people spend money and time on training, education or jobs that do not fit their skills and aptitudes. Placing students into a work setting gives them real world exposure to what they may or may not be interested in doing as a career choice.”

PCHS is looking for alumni that are willing to help, by completing a brief survey and sharing if you would like to be a career mentor (can be done remotely), sharing your job/career path with students, or providing internship and job shadow opportunities for current students.  Questions can be directed to Mike Miller at mmiller@pccsd-k12.net or complete the survey at https://bit.ly/PCHSalumniCareerMentor. The PCHS Alumni Career Mentor program will begin in the 2024-25 school year.
