Port Clinton High School Orchestra students rated ‘Superior’

Port Clinton High School Orchestra students performed Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Ohio Music Education

Association District 2 Solo and Ensemble Contest at Genoa. All PCHS orchestra students received “Superior” ratings, which is the highest rating given.

Students participating were: Elisa Pannell played a Class C violin solo; Class C duets included: Cooper Kowal and Carter Brown, Elisa Pannell and Connor Bechtel; Class B Duet: Kamlin Nisch Quan and Nikki Stitak; And Port Clinton High School Chamber Orchestra performed a Class B String Choir piece.

Port Clinton School District is the only school in the county to offer all three music programs that include band, choir, and orchestra. Brian Stitak is the Port Clinton High School and Middle School Orchestra Director. See more at www.pccsd.net.
