Port Clinton High School volleyball players ‘DIG for Diabetes’

The Port Clinton High School Volleyball Team that competed in the DIG for Diabetes event were: Kneeling, left to right, Addi Siefke, Alexis Meggit, Kennedy Adkins, Sarah Kopp, Mackenzie Martinez, Claudia Gillum, Caitlyn Wamsley, Alyssa Recker. Standing are Varsity Coach Kent Fehlbinger, Marcella Brenner, Olivia Carnicom, Aliyah Phillabaum, Grace Heilmann, Alliyah Wharton, Davie Avis, Hannah Witte, Taylor Bollinger, Kierstin Sherer, Bri Rose, Haylie Sewell, Anna Hummel, JV Coach Michelle Bodie.

The Port Clinton High School Volleyball team sponsored a “DIG for Diabetes” benefit event recently a game against visiting Willard. The team and parents organized t-shirt sales, event sponsors and raffles. The PCHS volleyball family and community raised almost $4,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The PCHS volleyball team is led by Coach Kent Fehlbinger, and assisted by Michelle Bodie.
