May 11, 2022 | Schools | 0 comments

On their last day of school, Port Clinton High School seniors traditionally leave school honking their horns, cheering and driving past the school. In 2020, a new tradition began and the Class of 2022 will leave school for the last time together and parade through the streets of Port Clinton starting at noon on Wednesday, May 18. Port Clinton City Schools also invites community members to come out along the parade route and wish the seniors well as they motor around town. The parade will start at Port Clinton High School and then follow this route: East on 10th, North on Fulton, West on Sixth, North on Lay Drive, East on Fremont Road, North on Harrison, East on Perry, South on Jefferson, East on Second, North on Maple, West on Perry, over the Drawbridge and end up to celebrate at Port Clinton Yacht Club.

A visual map of the parade route can be found at www.pccsd.net under the “News” section. The Port Clinton Police and Fire Department for providing the escort for the parade.
