Port Clinton Kiwanis announces Skilled Trade Scholarships

The Kiwanis Club of Port Clinton and the Kiwanis Foundation of Port Clinton have awarded more than $85,000 in academic scholarships to graduates of Port Clinton High School and Danbury High School over the past 21 years. With the need for individuals within skilled trades on the rise, the Kiwanis Club of Port Clinton is excited to announce the addition of a scholarship for high school seniors looking to further their education in a skilled trade.

Scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded to one student from Port Clinton High School and one student from Danbury High School. Applications for the Kiwanis Service Trade Scholarship can be obtained from the guidance office at the student’s home or vocational school.
