Port Clinton Lighthouse tours held on Saturdays

Jul 7, 2021 | Entertainment | 0 comments

The Port Clinton Lighthouse has quickly become one of the brightest features of Waterworks Park on the shores of Lake Erie in downtown Port Clinton. To give local lighthouse fans and visitors an up close and personal look at the unique structure, the Port Clinton Lighthouse Conservancy has begun Saturday guided tours from noon to 5 p.m. The tours will continue through Sept. 4.

Conservancy President Richard Norgard and new tour guide Gini Stevenson provided tours last Saturday. The tours are $3, free for kids 10 and under. No food, drink or pets are allowed, shoes are a must and cameras are welcome. There is no admission charge to visit the adjacent Keeper’s Boathouse, which has a wide range of gifts, memorabilia and souvenirs. (Photo by D’Arcy Patrick Egan)
