Port Clinton Middle School inducted a new group of students in the National Junior Honor Society recently. Carrie Sanchez, PCMS Principal, addressed the middle school student body and over 300 parents, grandparents and special guests.

The National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are the nation’s premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school and middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NHS and NJHS serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character (and Citizenship for NJHS).”

For the induction process, eligible students were asked to write an essay explaining why they would like to be a part of National Junior Honor Society, how they represent the characteristics of National Junior Honor Society and their future goals.
