Port Clinton Middle School Fleet 7 students and prize winners for the R Factor lesson were Shelby Isaac, Tessa Cantu, Bella Belden, Emma Ruby Johnson, Haley Shipp, Colt Emigh, Liam Johnson, Grant Barnhill.

Port Clinton Middle School grade 7 teachers had a R Factor related assignment for students. R Factor is a culture, behavior, and decision-making framework students use to develop exceptional life skills to successfully navigate school and life experiences at Port Clinton City Schools.

As part of the assignment, students were asked to explain a time they overcome an obstacle and had to show “grit.” Students that completed the assignment, and had it signed by a Grade 7 teacher, were put into a drawing.

PCMS is grateful for the following local businesses that donated prizes: Rich’s Drive Thru, Marcos Pizza, Fisherman’s Wharf, Toft Dairy, Bell Mells Tavern, Newport Clothing and Gear, Star Lanes. To learn more about R Factor visit www.pccsd.net and select the R Factor tab.
