Port Clinton High School Coach Kent Fehlbinger works with a student on his volleyball skills during the 2018 We Are PC Youth Camp. Registration for the free summer camp is now being accepted.

We Are PC Youth Camp is a coeducational day camp for students in incoming grades 4, 5, and 6 at Port Clinton City Schools. Camp days will focus on sport skill development while promoting the benefits of physical activity and healthy lifestyles for youth. Participants will receive fundamental instruction from Port Clinton High School program coaches while having the opportunity to engage in activities with friends and camp coaches.

The camp schedule includes: Volleyball on June 10-11; Tennis on June 12 – 13; Swimming on June 17 at the CIC; June 27, July 11; Bowling on June 18 -19; Soccer on June 24-26; Football on July 8-10; Baseball and Softball on July 15-17, a Toledo Mud Hens game on July 18; and Basketball on July 22-24. A Last Day Picnic will be July 25.

The camps are free, thanks to the sponsorship of the Port Clinton Athletic Booster Club. Sponsors include Magruder Hospital, The End Zone, Monsoon Lagoon, and Toft’s. Sponsors are still needed. Interested individuals or businesses may contact Allison Ahrens at allisonpahrens@gmail.com.

Camps will take place at Port Clinton Middle School on Monday through Thursday from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. from June 10-30 and July 8-25. Even though the camp is free, registration is required. Parents can register their child at www.pccsd.net. Look for the “Summer Camp” link under the Bulletin Board and select “We Are PC Youth Camp” to register online or download a registration form.
