The Lakeview Park and Portage Park playgrounds and restrooms were opened on Wednesday, June 10 by Port Clinton Safety-Service Director Tracy Colston under directives from the Ohio Department of Health.

“City crews have been working to make sure the playgrounds are ready, and the bathrooms at Lakeview and Portage parks are sanitized and very clean. The restrooms will be cleaned every day, including the weekends,” said Colston. “We have a good crew taking care of them.

“I’m excited to be able to open the playgrounds.,” said Colston. “I am asking everyone enjoying the playgrounds and the Port Clinton beach to please practice social distancing.”
