The Port Clinton Redskin Bowling teams traveled to Fremont’s Plaza Lanes last night.
The Port Clinton Boys bowling team took on Fremont SJCC in an SBC Bay Division conference match. The Redskins walked away with a 2594-2120 victory to improve their conference record to 6-3. Rok Scott lead the way with 184-243 (427). DeVonte Bates 172-211 (383), Tommy Brooks 211-267 (378) were followed by Dylan Smothers 199-172 (371) and Christopher Sanford149-130 (279). Brennen Barnett, Willy Brooks and Jacob Shipp stepped in during the baker set which was shaping up to be the best baker set of the year before time limited them to 4 games. The Redskins are back in action Thursday night at Star Lanes at the Harbor for the final SBC match of the season against the Huron Tigers.
Fremont SJCC scoring: Lance Emrich 228-176 (404), Parker Smith 160-138 (298), Marcos Sanchez 153-129 (282), Drew Frederick 155-119 (274) and Alex Dumminger 142-129 (271).
The Port Clinton Girls bowling team also won their match against Fremont Ross 1556-1259 in a shortend format match (two team games and 2 baker games). Gabie Klein was top scorer 130-146 (317) followed by Chyeanne Strader 130-146 (276) and Michelle Brough 111-157 (268). In her first varsity action, Faith Chapman scored 88-84 (172). Doris Huskey 166 and Sierra Seibold 112 rounded out the scoring. The Lady Redskins are also back in action Thursday night at Star Lanes at the Harbor for the final SBC match of the season against the Huron Tigers.
