Port Clinton Schools have Free Developmental Screening on May 22

The Port Clinton City School District will offer a Free Developmental Screening on May 22 for children living in the district. Children will be evaluated in five areas of development: Vision; Motor Development; Concept Development; Hearing; and Communication.

The screening is for children ages 3-5 years old and will be held by appointment only. To schedule a screening appointment contact the Port Clinton Schools Student Services Office at 419-734-2147, Ext. 7.

The Ottawa County Board of Developmental Disabilities will offer a screening for children age 2 and under. Contact the Ottawa County Board of Developmental Disabilities Help Me Grow/Early Intervention Office at 567-262-3142. All screenings will be held at the Student Services Office at Port Clinton High School, 821 S. Jefferson St., Port Clinton.

This event is sponsored by the Port Clinton School District and the Ottawa County Board of Developmental Disabilities. All appointments should be made by May 20.
