Coach Ryan Hicks’ Port Clinton boys basketball team had a Thursday and Saturday pair of non conference games over the weekend. They split the pair, winning at Toledo Bowsher on Thursday night and dropping a heart-breaker Saturday night at home to Eastwood on a buzzer-beater 3-pointer.
Adam Thorbahn led the Redskins with 19 points Thursday night at Toledo Bowsher as the Redskins won, 46-36. Jackson Beasley added 11 in the win.
Port Clinton and Eastwood battled toe-to-toe Saturday night right to the end. Eastwood hit on game-ending 3-pointer to claim a 63-61 road win. Adam Thorbahn and Jackson Beasley accounted for two-thirds of points for the Redskins with 22 and 20 points respectively.
The Redskins hit the road this weekend for a Friday night game at Huron and Saturday night in Monroeville.
