The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council is celebrating the work of students from Port Clinton High School in the current exhibition at The Healing Wall at Magruder Hospital. The public is invited to a reception on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1-3 p.m. The gallery is located near the radiology department on the south side of the hospital, 615 Fulton St., Port Clinton. Several pieces of art from Port Clinton High School students, as well as some from Danbury High School students, will be featured. During the reception, visitors will have the chance to meet the artists and their families. The works will be on sale for $20 each. All of the proceeds will go to a health-related organization of the school’s choice. The theme of the exhibition is “Healing from Illness.” The exhibits were organized with help from high school teachers Gwen Harkelroad of Port Clinton and Jane Letterhos at Danbury.
