The Port Clinton Redskins boys varsity baseball team was defeated in an away Sandusky Bay-Bay Conference game against the Edison Chargers 11-1 on Monday, April 7. Abe Hermes struck out 13 for Edison and pitched a five-inning no-hitter.

The Port Clinton Redskins vs the Western Reserve Rough Riders nonconference home varsity baseball game that was scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, was rescheduled. The Port Clinton vs. Oak Harbor varsity baseball game has been canceled. Port Clinton Redskins boys varsity baseball team is currently 1-4 overall and is in second place in the Sandusky Bay-Bay Conference with a 1-1 record. The Port Clinton Lady Red varsity softball team lost to the Edison Chargers 6-3 at home on Monday, April 7, in a Sandusky Bay-Bay Conference game. For Port Clinton, Ashton Sanchez had a home run and two RBI. Sanchez allowed six runs on seven hits and struck out 12. The Port Clinton Lady Red varsity softball team is 4-4 overall, and in second place in the Sandusky Bay-Bay Conference with a 1-1 record. The Port Clinton Lady Red is ranked 330 in Ohio.
