Port Clinton High School Treasurer Jeff Dornbush has been named the 2019 Treasurer of the Year by the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO). Dornbush has represented the Port Clinton School District at the state level, serving on several OASBO committees and testifying to state legislatures to protect and secure school funding.

Dornbush helped author legislation that has saved millions of dollars in funding. Under his school business leadership, Port Clinton has been a financially stable district. Dornbush is a dedicated school treasurer, respected by the entire state school treasurer network and often mentoring new school treasurers, said OASBO officials.

Several area school treasurers nominated him for Treasurer of the Year. The Port Clinton Board of Education recognized Dornbusch for receiving the award at a recent meeting for his continued commitment to school finance and his exemplary service.
