The public is invited to attend one of three Wreaths Across America Day events, all of them held on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. The event is hosted annually to remember fallen heroes, to honor those who served or are serving, and to teach children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families.

This year’s Wreaths Across America events will be held at Union Cemetery in Oak Harbor, Harris Elmore Union Cemetery in Elmore, and Catawba Cemetery on Catawba Island. (Photo by Sheri Trusty)
