The annual Put-in-Bay Barbershop Quartet Show at Perry’s Monument Visitors Center is set for Friday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. The program will showcase approximately 20 talented quartets from around Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Each foursome will share two songs each. Close to 100 singers will combine for a grand finale. The program is presented to the public free of charge, with sponsorship provided by The Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center.
The Put-in-Bay Barbershop Singers have performed at Perry’s Peace Memorial for over 70 years. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. A limited amount of chairs will be available. In case of rain the concert will be moved to nearby Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church.
