Ralph E. Branum, 93, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at his home with family. He was born on April 29, 1930, in Port Clinton to Carl Branum and Kathryn (Kennedy) Pool.

He graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1949 and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ralph was a Union Carpenter in Fremont, Ohio, and served as a Business Agent until his retirement. Throughout his career, he worked on and managed countless projects across Northern Ohio, making lasting contributions to his community he forever took pride in. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, fishing on Lake Erie, and working with wood in his shop. He recently restored and sold an antique Lyman Boat, one of his greatest accomplishments.

Survivors include his children: Judy (Rick) Johannsen of Port Clinton, David (Tricia) Branum of New Windsor, Maryland, Jane (John) Dominy of Marblehead, Ohio, and Don (Sheri) Branum of North Augusta, South Carolina; grandchildren: Ashley (Joe) Walker, Derick (Ashley) Johannsen, Mollie Branum, Mike (Kaitlin) Mallernee, Brian Mallernee, Joey (Katie) Mallernee, Justin Branum, and Coley Branum; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Winnie, Reece, Sage, and 2 more on the way; and brother Ken Branum of North Ridgeville, Ohio. He is reunited with his high school sweetheart Juliann (Lukac), whom he married on September 5, 1953, and spent 59 wonderful years with until her passing in 2012. He is also reunited with his father and stepmother, Carl & Charlotte Branum; mother and stepfather, Kathryn & Ken Pool; sister, Barbara Sorg; and brothers, Harlan and Tom Branum.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm with the family present 2-4 & 6-8pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Nielsen officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial Contributions may be made to Stein Hospice or Hopfinger-Zimmerman Park. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.neideckercrosserpriesman.com.
