Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has added more counties to the red-alert threshold on Thursday, July 9. That includes Summit and Lorain, where residents will now have to wear masks. Hamilton, Butler and Cuyahoga counties have now reached criteria for the highest risk rating, and are on a watch list to be designated purple, depending on future numbers. Other Level 3 counties in the state are Clermont, Franklin, Fairfield, Pickaway, Montgomery, Trumbull and Wood.
