Mayor Mike Snider of Port Clinton wasted no time settling his debt with Oak Harbor Mayor Quintin Babcock after Friday night’s thrilling victory by the Rockets, 25-21 in Oak Harbor.

Snider and Port Clinton officials headed west down 15 miles of State Route 163 to Oak Harbor to provide the traditional round of pizzas for the Oak Harbor senior football players.

Oak Harbor now holds a lead in the rivalry, with a 47-27-5 record since 1925 in the pigskin classic. Friday’s win was especially sweet for the Oak Harbor squad, giving them a 5-0 record in the Sandusky Bay Conference and a Bay Division championship.
