A member of the Ohio National Guard tests an employee of the Riverview Healthcare Campus for COVID-19.

The Riverview Healthcare Campus had 154 staff members and contractors tested for COVID-19 on Friday, July 24 in order to be able to follow an Ohio Department of health directive to allow visitation with residents of the Nursing Home.

The Nursing Home visits were to be allowed on Monday, July 20, but had to be put off because of the testing by the Ohio National Guard. Not all of the results of the test have been received, but should there be a positive, visits would not be allowed until no one tests positive.

When all of the tests have been completed, family members, resident representatives and residents will be notified. Administrator Kendra German said there have been no confirmed, suspected or probable COVID-19 cases on their campus since the pandemic began.
