RJ Molter, aged 95, formerly of Woodville, Ohio, passed into eternal life with His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 22, 2024 at his home in Otterbein Marblehead. He was born on April 24, 1929 in Bradner, Ohio to Earl J. and Iva Lucile (Thomas) Molter. On January 19, 1952 he married the love of his life, Carolyn Keil in Woodville. RJ served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War from 1951 – 1953. After discharge, he finished his pharmacy degree at Toledo University (now University of Toledo). He and his partner, Dan Mauntler, owned and operated M & M Pharmacy in Woodville from 1958-1991, and he practiced as a pharmacist for 60 years. RJ was proud to have served on the Board of Trustees at Owens Community College for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends at his summer home on Byrneal Beach, Catawba Island. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, his son, Jay (Terri), grandchildren, Adam (Megan) and Nora Wolf (Nick), and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodville United Methodist Church, with memorial contributions, if desired, to the church or donor’s choice.
