A pair of classics from 1930 were on display at the Vintage Airplane & Car Show at the Liberty Aviation Museum and Erie-Ottawa International Airport in Port Clinton on Saturday, Aug. 12. Caleb Ireland of Port Clinton rolled in with his classic Fort Model T sedan for the car show, and pilots Jared Granzow and Dewey Davenport were taking of Springfield, Ohio were taking the brave-hearted airborne in their D25 1930 New Standard biplane for flights throughout the day.
A couple of dozen classic aircraft were on display at the unique show, and more than 200 custom cars were on display on the airport runways. Sunny blue skies helped to make the show its largest, by far, said Keller Field Director Clay Finken.
