Rockets fall to undefeated Chargers, 48-43

OAK HARBOR — Oak Harbor kept it close, but ultimately was unable to get the lead and fell to Edison, 48-43. The Chargers (4-0, 1-0 SBC Bay) led, 22-13 at halftime, 36-31 after three quarters and held off the Rockets for the win.

Edison had three players finish in double figures — Lindsay Roberts (14), Olivia Vitaz (13) and Aliyah Caporini (10).
Sophia Eli led the Rockets (1-4, 0-1) with 14 points and Kaitlin Paul scored nine points.

Toledo Christian 72, Oak Harbor 52

Madison Royal-Davis scored 28 points to help pace Toledo Christian in its 72-52 defeat of Oak Harbor.

A fourth-quarter surge by the Eagles helped them break open a close game.

TC had three other players in double figures — Jordan Rosales (13), Brynn Beard (12), and Cat Jones (10).

Madison Glaser scored 15 points to lead the Rockets, and Sophie Eli added 14 points.
