In spite of the fact that they dominated the game statistically, the Oak Harbor Rockets needed a 2-point conversion at the very end to edge Huron Friday night in overtime, 29-28. Sophomore quarterback Michael LaLonde found Carson Ridener on a swing pass following a Ridener 5-yard touchdown run for the margin of victory.
The game was statistically dominated by the Rockets as they ran off almost twice as many offensive plays as the visiting Tigers. Oak Harbor outgained Huron, 362-181.

They also doubled up their opponent in both the passing game and the rushing game. LaLonde completed 17 of 27 passing for 160 yards and two touchdowns.
The Rockets are now 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the SBC. They travel to Milan for a matchup with a very good Edison team on Friday. Edison won in a wild one last Friday, 56-49 over Willard.
