Diane Rozak will be giving away 300 4-inch by 6-inch prints of her popular “Christmas in Marblehead” artwork on Friday, June 17 in an appearance celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Marblehead Lighthouse.
Dianne Rozak’s photography has been a best-seller in the gift shop at the Marblehead Lighthouse State Park for many years. In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the lighthouse this year, the avid birder and expert photographer will graciously sign 300 4-inch x 6-inch prints of her popular “Christmas in Marblehead” artwork during an appearance on Friday, June 17 from noon until 4 p.m.
Ohio tourism officials have reported that the Marblehead Lighthouse is the most-photographed tourism attraction in Ohio, and Rozak’s snowy scene has been the most popular scene, featuring fluffy snowflakes on a Christmas Day.
The cards are suitable for framing and free to the first 300 guests who stop by to visit with Rozak. She will also feature signed and framed small prints from her spectacular “Watercolors in Flight”collection of migratory and native Ohio birds. This unique series is available year-round at Orchard Farm Stand on Catawba Island.
Rozak will be happy to chat about birds and birding, photography and the iconic Marblehead Lighthouse, where the Johnsons Island resident was a State Park Naturalist for 16 years. Many more events are planned this summer to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Marblehead Lighthouse. Visit marbleheadlighthouseohio.org for the complete schedule.
