The Ottawa County Safety Council’s monthly meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center at Camp Perry. Lunch and Networking sessions are scheduled from 11-11:30 a.m.; Meeting and Presentation is from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Presentation will be on “Mental Health: Looks Can Be Deceiving,” with discussion on the causes behind mental health issues, understanding QPR and preventative options. The guest speaker will be Laura Miller, Site Director at Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services of Ottawa County.
