Salvation Army helps students with Tools for School, ‘Stuff the Bus’

Port Clinton folks are challenged to “Stuff The Bus” on Friday through Sunday, Aug. 5-7 at the Walmart in Port Clinton.

The Salvation Army-Port Clinton Service Unit is now accepting applications and donations for the Tools for School Program. The Port Clinton Service Center’s Tools for School Program will assist all school aged children in Ottawa County that are in need of school supplies and book bags for the upcoming school year.

Applications are available at The Salvation Army Office, United Way, The Sutton Center, JFS and all Ottawa County Libraries. The Salvation Army is also collaborating with Walmart in Port Clinton to “Stuff The Bus” on Friday through Sunday, Aug. 5-7 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Donations for this program can be dropped off at the school bus parked at Walmart, 2826 E. Harbor Rd., Port Clinton and at the Ottawa County Salvation Army Social Service Center, 1834 East Perry St., Port Clinton.
