Sandra K. “Sandy” Albrecht, 63, of Port Clinton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born Aug. 4, 1958, in Port Clinton, the daughter of Ben and Alverda (Lorensen) Petersen. She married Scott Albrecht on Oct. 28, 2000. Sandy worked for Aim Packaging and Amcorp in Bellevue. She also was a lunch lady for Port Clinton City Schools.
Surviving are her husband: Scott; siblings: Benny (Betty) Petersen of Port Clinton, Patricia Hoffman of Port Clinton, Bruce Petersen of Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter: Monica (Todd) McConnell of Ashland; grandson: Wyatt McConnell; nephew Benjamin Petersen and her fur babies: Trixie, Frankie, Sophie and Tootie. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, where funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17. Interment will be in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Rev. Cheryl Wessel will be officiating.
