The Sandusky Bay Ice Haulers have released their Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Baseball League schedule, featuring collegiate baseball players from 18 colleges throughout eight states. Over the summer season, the Ice Haulers will be playing 19 games at Sandusky’s Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center.
They’ll also play 19 away games at various locations in Ohio and Michigan.
After finishing last year as the North Division Champions, the Ice Haulers will see the return of outfielder Dom Magliocca and pitcher Luke Lashutka, as well as 12 players from home towns in the area.
“We are excited for another year to prove what we can do as a team,” said General Manager Ray Neill. “The players and staff are ready to push for another winning season.”
The Ice Haulers are planning on implementing theme nights this summer, including “The Mini Haulers” program for kids during the games. The season opener on Tuesday, June 7 has the Ice Haulers taking on the Lima (Ohio) Locos.
Practices begin on Monday, June 6. Single game tickets and season passes can be purchased online (www.icehaulers.com) or at the gate. There will also be Media Day the day for the team from 10 a.m.-noon on Sport Force Parks Field 3.
