Sandusky Speedway releases 2024 schedule

Sandusky Speedway has released its 2024 season schedule, and racing fans will have a lot to enjoy with the events that the historic half-mile oval will present along with the special admission prices. The action gets started on Saturday, April 27 when the Must-See Racing National Touring Series 410 Sprint Cars return to Sandusky after five years. The Must-See Racing Midwest Lights (Crate Sprints), Pure Stocks and All-American Iron will be in action.

The Dick Ensign Season Opener will be on Saturday, May 4. Racing will be the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron with admission for only one dollar. The May 11 and May 18 shows will feature the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron with one-dollar admission. The month wraps up on Saturday, May 25 when the 350 Outlaw Supermodified Sprint Series makes its first appearance of the season along with the Coyote Racing Series (CRS) Super Trucks. The support divisions will be the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and the All-American Iron. Admission will be $15.

The month of June will have one-dollar admission all month long for the Saturday shows on June 8, 15, 22 and 29. Racing will be the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron. As the weather heats up, so do the July events. The 7th Annual Renegade Rumble will be held on Friday, July 5. The support divisions will be the Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron. Admission is one dollar. The following night will be the return of the 350 Outlaw Supermodified Sprint Series. Also in action will be the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron. Admission is $15. On Saturday, July 13, the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron compete with admission for one dollar.

The Hy-Miler Supermodified Nationals will take place starting on Thursday, July 25 with divisions to be announced. On Friday, July 26, the International Super Modified Association (ISMA) and the Midwest Supermodified Series (MSS) will be in town and cap off their evening with the “Fast Forty” feature. The support divisions are to be announced. On Saturday, July 27 the ISMA / MSS Supermodifieds will qualify, run heat races, and then run their 100-lap feature race. The support divisions are to be announced.

The Ohio Wheelman Series will run the Josh “Neff” Wiggins Memorial on Saturday, Aug. 10. Supporting the Ohio Wheelman Super Stocks will be the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron. Admission is $15. The Tim Ensign Memorial and Ben Rhodes Night will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17. In action will be the Ohio Wheelman Modified Series, the National Compact Touring Series, Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron. Admission is $15. On Saturday, Aug. 24, racing will be the Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron. Admission is one dollar.

The lone show for September will be Championship Night on Saturday, Sept. 7. In action will be the 350 Outlaw Supermodified Sprint Series, Pure Stocks, Renegades, Beginner Stocks and All-American Iron. Admission is $15. The Bev Jaycox Memorial Cavalcade will take place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4 and 5, with the divisions to be announced. Racing resumes on Saturday, Oct. 19 with “The Nightmare Clash at Sandusky.” This special event features the Coyote Racing Series (CRS) Super Trucks, Midwest Compacts Dirt Series, Fremont Speedway Dirt Trucks and the Oakshade Raceway Bombers vs. the Asphalt Street Stocks.
