Santa is coming to town a little early this year, arriving in time for Main Street Port Clinton’s Community Christmas on Dec. 6. Rumor has it, he’s hoping to throw a fishing line into Lake Erie because the water is frozen at the North Pole, and Santa isn’t really into ice fishing. His beard dips into the water and gets in the way.
But he’ll be dry and jolly when he arrives in Port Clinton. Community Christmas begins at 2 p.m. and includes kids activities and a chili cookoff at downtown businesses. Santa will greet kids from 3 to 5 p.m., and the annual Lighted Christmas Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. (Photo by Sheri Trusty)
