Santa Claus will be making a special trip to Liberty Aviation Museum, 3515 E. State Rd., Port Clinton, on Sunday, Dec. 12. His airplane is expected to arrive approximately at 10 a.m. and Santa will be on hand to delight boys and girls until 1 p.m.
December is General Aviation Appreciation Month! Proclamations have been signed by the county commissioners of Ottawa and Erie counties, as well as Port Clinton Mayor Mike Snider.
Old Saint Nick is flying in by airplane on Sunday instead of on his sleigh, making sure his reindeer are well rested for the big night, said museum spokesmen. Once at the museum, Santa will be visiting with the children to take their lists and to find out if they have been naughty or nice.
Take a selfie with Santa and then enjoy some hot cocoa and cookies. Children on hand to greet Santa can also enjoy the museum, with free admission for boys and girls provided courtesy of Santa and the Liberty Aviation Museum with a paid adult admission.
Children must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the museum. The gift shop will be open, as well, to offer some unique last-minute Christmas gifts. There will be a 15% off sale for everyone in gift shop, excludes red dot or tagged items for Sunday’s visit with Santa.
Be sure to like and follow the Museum’s Facebook page for a daily countdown and up to date information on Santa’s arrival. For further information please call 419-732-0234.
