Brad Elfring, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has announced the promotion of Sara Shoemaker to Vice President of Marketing Officer at Croghan Colonial Bank.

“I am happy to see how Sara has continued to grow and build our Marketing team and expand our efforts and reach at Croghan. She has a true passion for Marketing, which shows as she strives to improve her skills and further her knowledge,” said Elfring. “I look forward to watching Sara grow with us here at Croghan.”

Shoemaker will manage and directs Croghan Marketing and Public Relations. She has more than 13 years of marketing experience, having worked the last seven years in the banking industry. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Marketing from Defiance College.

She is a member of Soroptimist International of the America, where they work to empower women and girls to help provide them with access to education and training. Shoemaker currently leads the Soroptimist Club’s Public Relations Committee.

Born and raised in Port Clinton, she enjoys spending her time outside of work with her husband Andy, daughter Lela, and family by the lake.
